Grove City Optometrist

Dr. Fries received his Doctor of Optometry from O.S.U. in 2004. He includes a new practice in Grove City, Ohio. Dr. Fries completed his undergraduate studies at the Ohio State University having a Bachelor of Science degree in Evolution, Ecology and Organismal Biology.



He received his Doctor of Optometry in 2004 from the Ohio State University College of Optometry exactly where he graduated cum laude and was inducted into two international optometric honor societies. Dr. Fries completed quite a few external rotations focused on ocular disease and key eye care. He also has comprehensive experience in geriatric and nursing home eye care and has spent time as a Clinical Instructor at the Ohio State University College of Optometry using a concentrate on fitting get in touch with lenses.

Dr. Fries was appointed by Governor Ted Strickland to the State of Ohio Optical Dispensers Board in 2007, where he serves as the only optometrist. He also serves around the Epsilon Psi Epsilon Optometric Fraternity Alumni Board and is actually a member in the Ohio Optometric Association and also the American Optometric Association.

In his free time Dr. Fries enjoys traveling, watching Ohio State athletics and playing golf. He and his wife Cheryl also love spending time with their dog Paddington.
